This accession consists of subject files maintained by the Capital Planning and Real Asset Management Branch (CPRAM) of the National Capital Commission, which was responsible for implementing the overall conceptual plan for the development of the National Capital Region. File subjects include, but are not limited to, industrial parks, islands, jails, lakes, Gatineau Park (including the Master Plan), parkways, EDP equipment, general questionnaires and information on property offers, expropriations, acquisitions, disposal, negotiations, inquiries and exchange of land.

Some files include maps, surveys and architectural drawings.
Records are arranged in numerical order by file number following a legacy file classification index that ceased operational usage in 1992.
