Collection search - Fisheries field service records of the Pacific Region [textual record, graphic material, cartographic material]

Accession consists of records created and/or maintained by the Pacific Region of the Department of Fisheries and Oceans and its predecessors. The accession includes, but is not limited to records relating to field operations in fisheries and habitat conservation, including: spawning reports; supervisors' annual reports; hatcheries records; obstructions, fishways and water records; stream reports and other stream management records; photographs of river, lakes, rapids, falls, dams, fishways, spawning areas and aerial views; dams records and water power investigations; the Hell's Gate area of the Fraser River; statistics on halibut, herring, pilchard, clams, and other catches; the Fraser River Board; inspection statements; committees and boards; and other records.

These records were originally held in British Columbia. They were transferred to the National Capital Region in 2016 and are available for consultation there.
