This sub-series consists of three types of publications created by A.V. Roe Limited. The first type of publication was a monthly newsletter entitled "Avro News", which began publication in June 1948. There are monthly newsletters for the period from June 1948 to January 1952. The newsletters for this time period are published in a small pamphlet format. The sub-series also has newsletters for sporadic dates from 1953 to 1958, with a variant title of "Avro Aircraft News" around 1953 and in 1958 another variant title of "Avro Newsmagazine". During the 1950s, the newsletters were published in large newspaper or magazine format, and featured many photographs of A.V. Roe activities.

The second type of publication created by A.V. Roe Limited are annual company reports, and this sub-series contains three from 1959-1961.

The third type of publication created by A.V. Roe Limited is a booklet (entitled Spearhead of Defence) published in 1951 that provides a five-year history of the company.
