Collection search - Reports, manuals and records from the departmental library [multiple media]

Accession consists of records created and/or maintained by the departmental library of Human Resources and Skills Development and its predecessors, primarily Manpower and Immigration.

The accession includes, but is not limited to, final reports relating to projects funded by the department, reviews and reports of Manpower and Immigration programs and services, summary of briefs, community profiles, statistical reports and surveys, training kits and syllabi, briefs submitted to the committee of inquiry into the unemployment Insurance act, corporate communications strategies and departmental manuals, handbooks and regulations.

Subjects include work sharing, management, employment equity, unemployment insurance, immigration, training and higher education, corporate identity, handicapped populations, older and younger workers, women in the labour force, attitudes towards unemployment insurance, Indians [First Nations] and Métis populations and federal minimum wage.
