Files concerning the Type 1100 Navaids Light Icebreaker Project, including chronological files of the correspondence to and from the Department's On-Site Inspectors at Sorel, Québec; certificates of inspection; many "Quotation[s] for Design Change or Additional Work"; and correspondence about design changes. The Canadian Coast Guard Ship "Edward Cornwallis" (C-450) is the subject of some of these records, as the "Sir William Alexander (C-451).
