This sub-series consists of records (such as correspondence, nomination papers, and biographical information relating to award winners) relating to the Canadian Federation of Biological Societies' Gordin Kaplan Award.

The award was created to be given to a member of the Federation who contributed significantly to public awareness of science. The award commemorates the contributions made to public awareness of science by the late Gordin Kaplan. Winners of the award are as follows:
