Accession consists of 568 videocassettes of remote-sensing imagery, created by Canada Centre for Remote Sensing's (CCRS), Data Acquisition Division, Airborne Section. The tapes record on a real-time audio-visual system, the flight path flown by the Division's aircraft as it collected remote sensing data. The tapes were primarily used as a backup to the digital data and helped CCRS in the testing and evaluating of its remote sensing technology.
