COM DEV International Limited : COM DEV International Limited was founded in 1969 and by 1974 provided a variety of microwave components for satellites. COM DEV focused on the development and production of microwave equipment, electronics, and optical subsystems for satellites.

Since first opening, technology and components developed by COM DEV have been used on nearly 1000 different satellites, which includes the vast majority of all commercial communications satellites launched (as of 2016). In addition to large communications satellites, COM DEV provided components and other engineering services for low Earth orbit satellites large and small.

On February 4, 2016 COM DEV International Limited was sold to United States based Honeywell Aerospace. Operations continued under the name of COM DEV International Limited.
