Sub-sub-series consists of records documenting the future and intended direction of the Canadian Space Plan. This includes impacts on both the Canadian Space Agency and the Canadian Space Industry.

The Canadian Space Agency and its predecessors have at several different times undertaken studies of the Canadian Space Sector and generated long term plans for the future of Canada in space. The first of these plans was in 1985, and resulted in the founding of the Canadian Space Agency. Further plans were made in 1994 and 1999. On his appointment to the position of President of the Canadian Space Agency, Dr. Steven MacLean was directed to create a new Space Plan (2008).
