Source of title:
Title of accession is based on the title of the atlas found on the spine.
Physical description note:
Dimensions:
height = 86.3 cm (at right hand side of front cover)
width = 70.5 cm (at bottom edge of front cover)
depth = 6.5 cm (at thickest part of spine)
Bound in black and reddish brown, appears to be leather. Front and back covers are reddish brown, spine and corners have additional black over top.
Of the 70 pages, 4 are paper and 66 are a heavier fabric.

Note on the state of conservation:
Some damage along location where front cover attaches to the spine.
Some ink bleed/staining appears to have occurred on some pages with faint lines apparently caused by lines on opposite page. This may be due to differential colour change/fading due to presence of the chemicals in the ink as opposed to transfer of the ink pigment.
