Item consists of a bound diary with a pale green cloth coverpasted on a stiff board with a title in gold lettering as follows: "Letts's Diary No. 13 1852". The title on the interior is as follows: "Lett's Diary or Bills Due Book And an Almanackfor 1852. Being Leap Year, and the Fifteenth of the Reign of Her Present Majesty Queen Victoria (Accession 20th June 1837.)", Published Oct. 1, 1851 by Letts, Son and Steer, Stationers, Printers and Map- Sellers, 8 Royal Exchange, May be had of any Bookseller or Stationer in the United Kingdom.

Diary contains sporadic handwritten entries from Jan. - Sept. 1852.
