Pettigrove described his experiences as a federal conciliator during a period of forty years. ~Session 4: Pettigrove described his experiences as a delegate to meetings of the International Labour Office in 1953 and 1955. He also recalled in detail arbitration cases involving National Defence and his activties as a conciliation officer in railway disputes in 1950-1953 and 1958-1959.
