File consists of 4 documents regarding procedures of the Legislative Assembly of the Province of Canada.

A hand-written document, in French, seems to be the cover sheet of the Minutes of the Legislative Council of the first session of the Province of Canada in 1858.

Two documents on the procedures of the Assembly, in English and typed, relate to the resolutions on the salaries of various officers in the administration of justice across the colony. A hand-written note on the passing of a motion to increase the salaries of the Members of Parliament, undated, is also found in the file.

The file also contains a small hand-written document, dated March 26 1850, discussing the Church temporalities and the taxation or confiscation of Church property.
