General note:

Accession consists of trimetrogon aerial photographs taken during the Second World War by the United States Army Air Force Task Force on a number of operations in Canadian territory. The U.S. Governement eventually deaccessioned the material and offered it to the Government of Canada

Note on the state of conservation:

Photographs have become curved due to aging, and in some cases were already packed tightly; this has resulted in difficulty in removing photographs from some of the cases.
