This accession consists of four boxes of position and establishment files created at the B.C. Penitentiary in New Westminster during the 1960's. These files, arranged according to the position to which they relate (such as Warden, Deputy Warden, Chief Trade Instructor, Librarian, Clerk 1, etc.), primarily contain documentation related to the position in general (statement of qualifications, salary, duties, etc.). There are, however, several files which also contain information related to the particular individuals who occupied the various positions during this time period.

These records were originally held in British Columbia. They were transferred to the National Capital Region in 2016 and are available for consultation there.
