Collection search - Short Form Land Register [textual record]

Accession consists of records created and/or maintained by the Land Patents Branch of the Department of the Interior.

The accession is comprised of two oversized leather-bound volumes entitled Short From Surface and Under Rights for Saskatchewan, Alberta, and the Northwest Territories issued by the Deputy Minister of the Interior. The volumes contain 13 completed forms from the province of Alberta concerning the sale of federal Crown land (known as Dominion lands) under the Dominion Lands Act. The forms indicate the grantee, a geographic description of the land grant, and its relative size.
