Accession consists of records created and/or maintained by the Centre for Information Technology Innovation (formerly the Canadian Workplace Automation Research Centre).

The accession includes records relating to the Clinical Practice Management Network, a project designed to improve the quality of care delivered to Canadians by their family physicians through the following intiatives: computerized patient records; clinical practice guidelines; a family medicine database; and a national communications network. The project involved close collaboration with the College of Family Physicians of Canada.

The accession also inlcudes records related to planning, administration, and reporting as well as correspondence with stakeholders and interviews with study participants.
