This accession consists of several rolls of architectural drawings of various buildings used by the Department of Mines and the Department of Mines and Resources. Sites include the Central Experimental Farm, and Booth Street Complex in Ottawa, Ontario as well as Little Saanich Mountain and a warehouse in Victoria British Columbia.

At the Central Experimental Farm, buildings include:
- the Royal Observatory,
- the Geodetic Survey Building, and
- the Geophysical Laboratory.

At the Booth Street Complex, buildings include:
- the Industrial Minerals and Ceramics Laboratory on Lydia Street,
- the Ore Dressing and Metallurgical Laboratories,
- the Tailing Disposal Building,
- a Laboratory Building for the Fuel Testing Branch, and
- the Physical Metallurgy Research Laboratories.

At Little Saanich Mountain, buildings include:
- the Dominion Astronomical Observatory,
- the Astrophysical Observatory, and
- the Observer's Residence.

Note on the state of conservation:

Condition of drawings varies. Several drawings in very poor condition.

All drawings have a small numbered tag affixed to one of the corners.
