Collection search - Census returns for 1921 census and other microfilm [microform]

Accession consists of microfilm created and/or maintained by Statistics Canada.

The accession previously included microfilmed census returns from 1921 (microfilm reels T-25752 to T-25883, and T-26000 to T-26030); these reels have been processed to permanent.

The accession also includes silver microfilm reels of the nominal return of the living for the 1871 census returns (on microfilm reels T-25883 to T-25999). These reels do not feature the best microfilm copy of the 1871 Canadian census; these are copies of obsolete microfilm reels C-601 to C-716, and are pending removal.

The microfilm reels T-25883 to T-25999 currently in this accession should not circulate as they represent an obsolete (less-than-ideal) microfilming of the 1871 Canadian census returns.
