This sub-series contains raw footage of interviews with various individuals connected with the reading of the Great Law, including a young chief in training, an older chief, some teenage boys, a traditional healer, and other interested parties. The 19 videocassettes in this sub-series can accessed through MISACS using the following IDC numbers:489481-489499 inclusive. Researchers interested in interviewing, editing and performance studies will find this sub-series useful. The interviews cover a wide range of subjects such as keeping the heritage of the Great Law alive, how the Great Law can be applied to modern living, the history and legacy of residential schools policies, and the religion of the longhouse. Other topics include the violence that occurred at Oka, the process of learning native languages, and the process of learning and relating oral history.
