Collection search - Audio recordings of interviews for investigations into Marine Occurences [sound recording]

Accession consists of records created and/or maintained by Transport Canada. These records were transferred to the Transportation Safety Board as reference files. They were subsequently transferred to LAC at the end of their retention periods. The records are exclusively audio cassettes of interviews held in regards to marine incidents that were serious enough to warrant a full investigation. Where a link to textual records has been found, it has been listed in the finding aid. File block 9704 deals with investigations into wrecks, casualties, and salvage, while file block 9708 deals with the reporting of wrecks. Note that 9708 files are usually filed in the Wreck reports Sub-series (MIKAN no. 133878).
