Series concerns Zwicky's early development as a writer and a philosopher. Contains juvenilia, early writing, as well as her study notes. In particular, writing documents include a commonplace book from her early teens, drafts of poems from mid-late teens (some edited in Christopher Wiseman's inaugural Creative Writing seminar at the University of Calgary 1973-1974). Also includes drafts of early essays (some eventually published), undergraduate thesis (with, as Zwicky describes it, "an appallingly smug defense of its use of the masculine pronoun"), course notes and readings for developing her PhD thesis and an early piece of fiction written in response to a story by Bas Van Fraassen (noted philosopher of science). Also includes her high school transcripts and diplomas.

Arrangement note:

These files were found in several boxes packed by Zwicky for archival appraisal. Arrangement appears to reflect seeking out the records for appraisal, rather than an initial filing order.
