General note:

This accession includes minutes of meetings of the Board of Directors (1946-1989), executive, legal and financial correspondence relating to all aspects of Eldorado's operations, including the preparations for privatization during the 1980s, as well as an incomplete series of annual reports from 1931 to 1984.
Thirty corporate seals of Eldorado Nuclear Ltd. and affiliated companies have been transferred to the Visual and Sound Archives Division. See accession 1996-97/209.

Custodial history:

These Canada Eldor documents were transferred by the Canada Development Investment Corporation to the National Archives of Canada in ca. 1995; the transfer was made following an agreement signed in 1984 between Eldorado Nuclear Limited and the Public Archives.
