This accession consists of records related to the research and development of various types and pieces and equipment used by the Canadian Forces and the department. The documents from these files were created for the most part by the various offices involved in testing and evaluation which report to the ADM (Materiel). The records are organized according to the National Defence file classification system, 10055 block. The records are arranged further by year in which the research and development was undertaken and according to the type of equipment involved.
