Accession consists of records created and/or maintained by the Saskatoon District Office of Indian and Northern Affairs Canada.

The accession includes, but is not limited to records relating to: unsuccessful engineering tenders; native law education; housing tenders; estates; veterans' land accounts; property damage and protection, including policy and fire protection and loss; surveys and reserves, including those for the Beardy, John Smith, One Arrow, Moose Woods, Mistawasis, and Muskeg Lake bands; rights of way, including those for power lines and roads; leases, landholdings; statistics, including public assistance statistics, census records, annual report, vital statistics, and children in care statistics; federal-provincial relations; cultural affairs; and policy research and evaluation, including regional staff meetings and band chief meetings.

These records were originally housed in Edmonton, but were later transferred to British Columbia. They were transferred again in 2016 and are now located in the National Capital Region and are available for consultation there.
