This file comprises the photograph album of Irene Spry's mother, Amelia Bagshaw Biss, for the years 1909 to 1921. The photographs are primarily from India (including parts of what is today Bangladesh) where they appear to have lived for most of these years. Some of the subjects include Evan and Amelia Biss's children, Amelia, Irene, and Evan; family pets and farm animals; river boats at Dacca; the Dacca Diana Rifle Club, 1913; Kurseong, 1910; Pondtail, 1913; the armistice parade at Allahabad, 1918; the "first" aeroplane to fly from England to India, December 1918; Blundell's School at Tiverton, 1921; and Stonehenge. There are nitrate negatives of the images of the Biss family children at Pondtail in the summer of 1913.

The file includes two loose prints housed in volume 331, file 3, and 10 nitrate negatives stored separately in volume 338.
