General note:

This accession consists of maps, plans, and drawings created and/or accumulated by the Port in general and the Engineering Department in particular. The drawings are arranged according to two different systems and involve various sizes, scales, and materials (linen, paper, etc.). They relate to both the harbour itself as well as the various installations around it such as buildings, piers, terminals, roads, railways, and other infrastructure.

Custodial history:

These records were originally held in British Columbia. They were transferred to the National Capital Region in 2016 and are available for consultation there.
