This accession consists of records created and/or maintained by the Jean Talon Project of the Canadian Studies Program - part of the Citizens' Participation and Multiculturalism Branch of Heritage Canada. The Jean Talon project was a federal initiative designed to create state-of-the-art computer-based learning and information products designed to increase Canadians' knowledge and awareness of Canada (and which was terminated and replaced by the Terra Nova Initiative in 1996).
