Accession consists of records created and/or maintained by the Pacific Forestry Centre of Natural Resources Canada in Victoria, B.C.

The accession contains records arising from the First Nations Forestry Program in British Columbia. The accession includes, but is not limited to records relating to: aboriginal industry councils and associations; training programs; Traditional Ecological Knowledge (TEK); enhancing reserve land; horse logging; log buildings; pine beetle control; equipment and woodlot inventories; kiln drying facilities; feasibility studies; forest inventories; site rehabilitation; nurseries; mill development; Christmas trees; trucking; non-timber forest strategies; and cultural heritage surveys.

The accession also consists of photographic material (prints and jpegs) which accompanies textual file 6999-BOO [99-1-137]. And cartographic material which accompanies textual file 7000-TSL [01-1-254].

These records were originally held in British Columbia. They were transferred to the National Capital Region in 2016 and are available for consultation there.

Accompanying specialized media records were separated from their related textual files before being transferred to the archives. Media records were registered in 2017 and added to this accession.
