Arthur Romano plays soprano saxophone. Gerald Danovitch plays also saxophone. Nicholas Ayoub plays tenor saxophone and Frederick Nichols plays baritone saxophone. The concert begins with a composition written by Michel Perrault for the Romano Saxophone Quartet. This is the first audition of this work, entitled Quartet for Saxophones. Next is Petit Quator pour saxophones, by Jean Françaix, director of the conservatoire de musique in LeMans, France. This composition is in three movements.
