1. Production date based on the film edge code. Subject description taken from hand inspection and the Roffman Collection finding aid shot list. In some cases the finding aid shot list is more extensive than what actually appears on the roll.~2. Leader reads, "Taylor-Roffman Prod. Stock Shots 101, 46, 47, 48, 49, 52." Can 101 (7301-6994) does not appear to match the content of the finding aid shot list.~3. Film rolls in this collection are in need of proper leadering and splice repair. Most shots on a roll are taped together and require cement splices prior to any screenings, video transfer, or client requests.~4. Library and Archives Canada is now the copyright owner for material originally under copyright to Julian Roffman. Julian Roffman died 16 November 2000, therefore, the material in this collection for which he was creator is under copyright until 31 December 2050.~5. A production slate on two of the rolls (7301-6996/6997) indicates this roll is possibly out-takes of an unidentified Associated Screen News Production F-292.~6.
