Accession consists of records created and/or maintained by the Pacific Region of Transport Canada and its predecessors.

The accession includes, but is not limited to records relating to aviation, airports, and wharves and ports.

Aviation records include records relating to training, regulatory audits, transport of dangerous goods, occupational safety and health, inspections, operations manual, and civil aviation tribunal hearings.

Airports records include records relating to equipment, terminals, Operational Incident Reporting (OIRS), mobile equipment inspections, aircraft landings and departures, terminal services, collision risks, water rescue capability, and use of pesticides.

Wharves and ports records include records relating to anchoring, boating safety, public harbours and ports, harbour masters and wharfingers, tariffs and fees, and waterlots and foreshore.

These records were originally held in British Columbia. They were transferred to the National Capital Region in 2016 and are available for consultation there.
