The accession primarily consists of minute books of various NCC committees. The minutes are arranged in chronological order according to the date of the committee meeting. The following committees are included: Advisory Committee on Design (meetings of Feb. 4, 1981 to Dec. 4, 1986); National Capital Planning Committee (meetings of Jan. 30, 1981 to Oct. 31, 1986); Executive Management Committee (meetings of Jan. 6, 1982 to May 25, 1988); Corporate Audit Committee (meetings of Apr. 15, 1981 to Mar. 20, 1986); AdHoc Corporate Committee on Communications (meetings of Feb. 23, 1982 to Jan. 4, 1984); AdHoc Corporate Committee on Sound & Light (meetings of Aug. 18, 1981 to Oct. 11, 1984); Advisory Committee on Real Property (meetings of Jan. 22, 1982 to Sept. 12, 1986); Advisory Committee on the Arts (meetings of Feb. 1, 1979 to Sept. 27, 1985).

Some of the records in this accession are being reviewed for their archival value.
The accession also includes central registry files from the Property Branch pretaining to the administration and management of NCC properties, as well as negotiations concerning property easements and purchases by the NCC.
