The Aylmer Conference was a three-day Liberal Party of Canada (LPC) conference held to unite the party in preparation for the next Federal Election, as well as help the party unite after the 1990 LPC Leadership Race. The Conference took place from 22 to 24 November 1991, and was held at the Chateau Cartier Sheraton Hotel, in Aylmer, Quebec.

While tape seven of the fourteen tape set is missing, which consists of the keynote luncheon address of Lester C. Thurow of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, the remaining thirteen tapes provide highlights of the three day conference. The recordings include the welcoming, and closing, remarks given by Prime Minister, and leader of the LPC, Jean Chretien, and topics discussed and debated include: Globalization and its economic and geo-political impacts; the future scope of government; the economy, social policy and healthcare; politics and the community in an information age; and developing institutions for the 21st Century, to name a few.
