The Ripping Friends was a Canadian animated series created by John Kricfalusi, the original creator of Ren and Stimpy. After he was fired from Ren and Stimpy, Kricfalusi wanted to create a movie that starred the worlds "manliest men" which became the basis for the Ripping Friends. The Ripping Friends were four superhuman, macho brothers who fought all manner of whacky and strange criminals. The development of the series was marked by sporadic and unprepared production and, despite all attempts, could not quite recapture the humor, or the audience, that Ren and Stimpy once held. The series ran for thirteen episodes, from September 2001 to September 2002 before being cancelled.

This item is a sketch done for the episode called The Ovulator. The plot of the episode involves a deranged chicken who holds all the beef in the world hostage so that people must buy eggs. The RIpping Friends are almost powerless to stop him, as they require beef to be strong. This drawing depicts the chicken coop that the Ovulator uses as his evil lair.
