This accession contains records filed in the Canadian Coast Guard, Western Region, Vancouver, B.C. central registry. These files contain records which document the work of the office of the District Marine Agent, Victoria, B.C. (Transport Canada) and that office's predecessors in the Department of Marine and Fisheries and of Marine. Many of these records were originally filed on other registry systems in these departments. The records document the administration of small craft harbours, ports, and wharfs in British Columbia.
