Collection search - Economic development, job creation, environmental protection and other records of the Saskatchewan Regional Office [textual record]

Accession consists of records created and/or maintained by the Saskatchewan Regional Office of Indian and Northern Affairs Canada.

The accession includes, but is not limited to, records relating to: The Canadian Aboriginal Economic Development Strategy (CAEDS), including audits and evaluations, reports and studies, Regional Opportunities,Program, and resource partnership programs; job creation programs such as the First Nation and Inuit Youth Work Experience Program, Science and Technology Camp Program, and First Nations Schools Co-operative Education Program; and environmental protection, including remediation of hydrocarbon contamination, solid waste sites, environmental remediation, abandoned fuel tanks removal, and hazardous substances.

These records were originally housed in Edmonton, but were later transferred to British Columbia. They were transferred again in 2016 and are now located in the National Capital Region and are available for consultation there.
