These regional subject files bear alpha-numeric file numbers (if they have any numbers at all) and were created to control aspects of the Canada Manpower Industrial Training Program. The records cover such topics as monthly activity reports, annual plans and budgets, Pacific Region objectives, disadvantaged youth, job creation programmes, native Indian training (including statistics), women in non-traditional occupations, ministerial enquiries, and several working files on "D.C. Power", Northern Interior Forest Industry, etc. These files give a scattered picture of some regional CMITP activities that is difficult to derive from the tens of thousands of case files.

These records were originally held in British Columbia. They were transferred to the National Capital Region in 2016 and are available for consultation there.
