Description:

Sixteen millimeter footage, without sound, of Paul Martin Sr.'s 1956-57 tour of East Asia - consisting of visits to Australia, Burma, Cambodia, Ceylon, India, Indonesia, Laos, New Zealand, Pakistan, Philippines, Singapore & Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam. There is a small amount of footage of Paul Martin Sr. visiting Pearl Harbour, followed by a selection of footage from various different cities and countries visited. While most of the footages shows such events as the signing of documents or the on-site inspection of projects, there is footage of nuclear plants/projects in India and images relating to the XVI Olympiad being held in Melbourne, Australia, in 1956. <49m 13s>
