The series includes financial records relating to individual programs administered by the Council such as the Terry Fox Canadian Youth Centre, for which it includes financial statements and combined balance sheets and statements of revenue and expenditure for the Council and the Centre. The series hold extends documentation of Council requests for federal funding. Records include correspondence, annual reports, outlines of the current financial situation of the Council, statements of revenue and expenditure, projected costs and revenue estimates including donor contributions, reports of fund-raising activities including projected results for campaigns, reports of the Executive Director, briefing notes concerning past achievements of the organization, current activities and future plans. The series includes a funding agreement with Heritage Canada pertaining to the Centre for Research and Information on Canada (CRIC) and its activity plans and reports. Requests for federal funding for Canadians in Europe program include program descriptions, budgets, statements of revenue and expense and correspondence. There are also the files of Lieutenant-Colonel Paul L'Anglais, 1968-1981, which include speeches, correspondence, biographical information, and clippings. Records relating to Marcel Caron, 1968-1977, include speeches, correspondence, a description of the Canada Committee and its purposes and activities, and budget information. The series also holds records relating to development and fundraising activities, including advertising and efforts to create a foundation.
