The series consists of graphic design layouts and mockups created for the Canadian Unity Council by various graphic design and printing firms. There are comprehensive layouts for some of the Council's corporate logos including the 25th anniversary logo, the Encounters with Canada French and English logos and the deux bonhommes symbol which was incorporated in the Encounters with Canada logo and appeared on the covers of Council reports. Several layouts with changes at each stage might be required before final approval. The Council hired graphic design firms to design and print their corporate stationery. The series includes a layout for corporate business cards and a comprehensive layout and mockup for a bi-fold presentation folder. Stationery intended for fund-raising purposes includes the comprehensive layout of a campaign subscription card. There are also layouts of a schedule of suggested contributions, a brochure listing members of the Fundraising and Executive Committees for the 1991 campaign and a mockup of a tri-fold brochure for the1993 campaign indicating current programs, publications, conferences, revenue sources and estimated expenses. The series contains layouts for other types of stationery including the Council's membership form and membership card, compliments cards, layouts and mockups for a Memo to the Board of Directors and a business reply envelope. Layouts for corporate awards include the Council's Certificate of Honour and a Certificate of Distinction for Outstanding Contribution to The Terry Fox Canadian Youth Centre. There is also the mockup of the Council's logo accompanied by instructions for gold stamping and intended to be used for award certificates, probably the Certificate of Merit. The series also contains designs used for Canada Day. There is a reproduction sheet of the Petro-Canada logo for general applications which the Council used for the Maple Leaf design and a reproduction sheet with various sizes of the Council's Canada Day logo which was used in the Canadiana products program. Finally, there is a Let's Sing O'Canada reproduction sheet with lyrics. Design and printing firms which the Council used included Optima Designs Inc., Montreal; Paul Paradis Inc., Montreal; Avant-garde ltée., Montreal; Paul Bernier; and Mr. Copy.
