Accession consists of records created and/or maintained by the Vancouver Fraser Port Authority and its predecessor the Vancouver Port Corporation.

The accession includes, but is not limited to, records relating to: ceremonies and celebration, local port authorities, planning and programming, construction and maintenance, proposed crossing at Burrard Inlet, Vanterm, Lynnterm, heliport, Roberts Bank container terminal, Neptune Seaboard Terminals, Gastown waterfront development, fire boats, container cranes, Centennial Pier cranes, railways, leases and agreements, Harbour Park development, West Coast Reduction Ltd., Saskatchewan Wheat Pool, Pier B.C. development, Greentree development, Indian reserve at Musquito Creek, land exchanges, Second Narrows Bridge, Lapointe Pier, Jetty #3, and other Port structures and locations.

These records were originally held in British Columbia. They were transferred to the National Capital Region in 2016 and are available for consultation there.
