These are central registry files regarding periodic inspections carried out by Labour Canada officials of feed and flour mills in New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island to see if Part III of the Canada Labour Code governing labour standards (hours of work, overtime pay, etc.) was being respected by the employing companies. Where it was determined that some corrective action was necessary in order to bring an employing company into conformity with the code, any follow up activity by Labour Canada is covered as well in the files.
