Accession consists of records created and/or maintained by the Airports Group of the Pacific Region of Transports Canada and its predecessors.

The accession includes, but is not limited to, records relating to: terminal services, seaplanes bases, levels of service, commercialization, lease monitoring, snow clearing and ice control, light and power, ecology and environment, glycol (aircraft de-icing), fuel storage tanks, polychloryl biphenals, real estate planning, financial assistance, operational incident reporting, agricultural leases, site security committees, and planning programming. Records relate to carious airports in British Columbia, including Campbell River, Cranbook, Kelowna, Penticton, Victoria, Pitt Meadows, Boundary bay, Comox, Nanaimo, Kamloops, Abbotsford, Mackenzie, Smithers, Grand Forks, Langley, Pemberton, Qualicum Beach, Masset, Port Hardy, Castlegar, and Prince George.
