The Medical Research Council is the federal government's major funding agency for medical research in Canada. These files deal with grants made to individual medical researchers in Canada during the years 1972-1977 whose surnames begin with the letters "A" or "B". The files are organized by name of the grant recipient. Each file contains an application, an evaluation of the application, a report on finished research and any applications for extension of the grant.
