This animated version of the fairy tale Goldilocks and the Three Bears begins with the scene of a little house, a bird sitting on a fence and a smiling sun in the sky. Inside, Papa Bear, Mama Bear and Baby Bear are in their beds, snoring. The sign next to a cuckoo clock says "fresh eggs every hour". The cuckoo clock bird jumps into a fish bowl, swims around and jumps out. The bird shoots a steam of water from its beak at a portrait of Papa Bear which is hanging on the wall. A bell wakes the bears up and a cat uses a contraption to lift the sheets off them. A "One Moment Please" sign appears as the bears get dressed. Next, the cat cranks a gramophone to get a record called Wallies Reducing Record. The bears exercise to the music. The cats cook eggs and pancakes. Papa Bear says the pancakes are too hot to eat and suggests they go for a ride. The bears and the cats take off on a bicycle and ride through the countryside. A girl with short fair hair, Goldilocks, walks along the road and up to the door of the house. She smells pancakes and goes inside. She flings pancakes all over the room until she gets the stack down to the right size to eat. A mouse finds a pancake on the floor and drags it through a mouse hole. Goldilocks eats a stack of pancakes, climbs the stairs and goes to bed in Baby Bear's bed. The bears and cats return. The bicycle lets itself into the garage. The bears find pancakes all over the floor. The black cat goes upstairs and discovers Goldilocks in bed. She jumps out the window. A chase ensues. She falls off a cliff, floating in her billowing skirt. She wakes up from this dream, tangled in a bedsheet, as an old lady tells her there are pancakes for breakfast. <10mn>

1. This is missing the head title.~2. Duration is approximate, based on 659-foot length of 28mm print.~3. This early Disney title was long believed lost, but a 35mm sound version under the title THE PEROXIDE KID was located at the Museum of Modern Art and restored by MOMA circa 2010.
