Description:

La famille Blanchard de Coteau Rouge, un quartier populaire de Longueuil, est tissée serrée sur quatre générations. Elle est composée d’Honoré le patriarche, de Fernand et de son épouse Micheline, d’Henri et de son épouse malade Estelle et de leur fils Alexis. La soeur d’Henri, Hélène, a quant à elle épousé le riche homme d’affaires Éric Miljours et habite désormais le riche quartier de Parcours du Cerf. Hélène voulant un enfant naturel mais sans le porter, sa mère Micheline joue le rôle de grand-mère porteuse. Simultanément, Éric Miljours tente d’acheter toutes les propriétés de Couteau Rouge pour en faire des condominums mais se heurte aux résistances de certains habitants, dont les Blanchard. <86mn 24s>
