Collection search - Pacific Regional Office - Training-on-the-Job Contracts and Local Initiatives Project Audits [textual record]

This accession is in two parts. The first is a bundle of photocopies of contracts between employers and the federal government for implementation of the Manpower Training-on-the-Job program in the Pacific region of Manpower, 1972. Included are copies of the contract (form MAN 1076), the "Proposal for Hiring and Training" (MAN 1074) and occasionally supplementary contracts varying the terms of the main agreements. The second part are bundled in alphabetical order by name of employer. The second part consists of audit reports on L.I.P. project grants throughout the Pacific Region for various periods in 1973. These are divided into "Initial Audit Visit" report forms, giving basic information on each project's financial structure organized by date of report; and formal Interim and Final Audit Reports, in standard form (including in a few cases narrative remarks on financial aspects of individual projects), organized by LIP project number.

These records were originally held in British Columbia. They were transferred to the National Capital Region in 2016 and are available for consultation there.
