The collection also comprised loose items in the form of Christmas cards. Some were loose, and some stored [not laid down or mounted] in one album. Some have remnants of paper, etc. attached to verso of cards as if once attached to albums. Most are colour lithographs or reproductions, some with hand-painting and other added processes or embellishments. The loose cards were assigned the accession numbers: R11648-14 to R11648-71.

The objects are two examples of Christmas tinware sent by British royalty, Queen Victoria and Princess Mary, 1900 and 1914. A small greeting card, 1915 is found with Princess Mary tin. These items were assigned accession numbers R11648-11 to R11648-13. The card item: R11648-13, has been removed for preservation purposes and is housed with the loose cards. This group for the most part has not been described at the item-level in the database, but a paper list finding aid is available on the art accession file.

Other loose card were originally kept in a First Day Cover Pocket Album ; these were assigned item numbers R11648-72 to R11648-157. The album was given an album number in keeping with Respect des Fonds: [Album 11]. For the safety of the items, they have been removed and catalogued as separate items. In respect to the original arrangement, this album has been given a file, or album identification, to which the electronic item-level descriptions for the orignal contents are linked.
