Footage of members of the Canadian army, air force and navy outside a large building which may be Buckingham Palace, London. The footage starts with a low-angle view of part of a building with a flag (Royal Standard?) flying from it; footage of an ornately-carved peaked roofline with three statues on top; head and shoulders shot of a Canadian officer; two soldiers are in the background; two police officers (Bobbies) shown speaking to each other in profile (one of the Bobbies has a collar badge which reads A.54); a row of cars parked in a courtyard; men in uniform stand nearby the cars; a soldier and two officers walk towards the camera (one of the officers wears a cap with a red hat band) and a red tab on the collar; all shots are exterior shots in bright sunshine, so the peaks of the men's caps obscure their faces in some shots; the soldier who is one of the three is then shown in profile; more shots of officers and a man in a suit; more groups of officers and other military personnel, including a navy officer, a woman with a pen and notepad, a member of the U.S. army, more soldiers, two Bobbies and a soldier wearing a kilt.
